Van Ruben is a Dutch artist living in Australia.

He went to art academy in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and studied different arts whilst there. His love for comic books and oil paintings of the old Dutch Masters were the biggest influence on his art. In 2012 he became a full time tattoo artist

Van's style mainly focuses on a combination of Neo-traditional, comic and portrait tattoos but he also has a love for the more traditional styles and tattoo origins like Japanese. As is often reflected in his paintings. But Van is not one to be pigeonholed and is always keen to explore new ideas.
